Meet Mikaela Ober Schuster: Easterseals DC MD VA: Leading the Way to Full Equity, Inclusion & Access 12/5

Mikaela Ober Schuster serves as Senior Director of Donor Relations at Easterseals DC MD VA, the nation’s leading provider of services and support for people with disabilities, veterans, and their families. Wharton Club members and guests are invited

 

Mikaela Ober Schustober-schuster-bio--1-er serves as Senior Director of Donor Relations at Easterseals DC MD VA, the nation’s leading provider of services and support for people with disabilities, veterans, and their families. Mikaela works closely with corporate, community, and individual partners to amplify the organization’s impact on the community by increasing access to critical services for adults and children. In addition to developing strategies to grow the organization’s relationships, she creates and manages an ongoing pipeline of corporate engagement opportunities, which helps extend the capacity of Easterseals’ programs. 

 

Before joining Easterseals, Mikaela spent time in the private and public sectors. Past roles included time with Give an Hour, a service organization that provides free mental health care to the veteran and military communities and time in the office of Congressman Ron Barber (AZ). Mikaela’s volunteer work has included the National War College Spouse’s Board and Washington DC VA Medical Center.

 

Mikaela graduated cum laude from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis on Public Policy. She lives in Rockville, MD with her husband, two children, and dog.
